Mateco takes first OMMELIFT

German based powered access company Mateco, recently acquired by TVH, has taken delivery of its first OMMELIFT.

The 22 metre track-mounted 2200 R telescopic spider lift offers an outreach of 12.2 metres and a maximum platform capacity of 200 kg. Overall dimensions are 6.4 metres in length, 1.1 metre wide and less than two metres high, the unit weighs approximately three tonnes.

Eric Hammerle, southern regional manager of Mateco, said: “We were convinced by the simple operation of the 2200 R as well as its reversible drive. The positioning system for the support and the overall parameters of the machines were also a decisive factor.”

Following an extensive testing phase with Mateco customers the machine will be stationed at the company’s recently opened branch in Ulm, Germany.
